Billionaire's Wall
The Million Dollar Homepage, Rebuilt in Gold
Last updated October 20, 2026
The original idea
In 2005, a student named Alex Tew launched the Million Dollar Homepage: a single page of one million pixels, sold at $1 per pixel. Brands bought blocks of pixels, placed tiny logos on them, and linked them to their websites. The page sold out completely and became one of the most famous marketing stunts in internet history.
What made it work
- Scarcity. There were exactly one million pixels and no more. Every purchase made the rest more valuable.
- Curiosity. People visited just to see who had bought what — and every visit was traffic for the brands on the page.
- Permanence. Once you owned pixels, your logo stayed. Early buyers got a lifetime of clicks for a one-time price.
The billionaire version
Billionaire's Wall keeps the soul of that idea and raises the stakes. Instead of a million $1 pixels, there are 10,000 golden bricks at $100 each — a wall worth a million dollars, built for brands that want to be seen in rare company.
What we added
- A real market. The original page was one-way: buy and hold. Here, you can list your bricks for sale, accept bids, and profit if demand rises. The platform takes 15% of each resale.
- Bigger canvas. Bricks are large enough for a real logo, scaled and centred so your brand looks the way it should.
- Ownership tools. Edit your brand's name, logo and link whenever you like from My Bricks.
Claim your place
The wall fills once and never grows. Open the wall, drag across the bricks you want, and put your brand on the billionaire's side of internet history.
